The first nations tribes that lived there are hunters and fishers. Some geographical characteristics are winters, summers, and plant food. The tribes that lived in the arctic were the Mackenzie Inuit, Copper Inuit, Caribou Inuit, Netsilk Inuit, Iglulik Inuit, Baffin Island Inuit, Quebec Inuit and Labrador Inuit.




2. What kind of foods was available? What did they do to obtain and preserve food?

The food that was avalible are caribou,musk-oxen,ocean mammals and fish provided food and clothing.



3. What kind of shelters did these First Nations groups build? What building materials did they use? How did this kind of shelters meet their needs?

They used caribou, musk-oxen, ocean mammals and fish to provided shelter.The house they build was a tipi. They used animal skins for the cover of the tipi to protect from rain and keep it warm.





4. What did they use for transportation? What is it made of?

Their transportation were dog-sled and boat which were made out of animal bones and drift wood making the sled loose.



5. What did they celebrate?

The first nations people celebrated drum dancing, singing and art using loads of materials like soapstone, wood, ivory, baleen, skin, bone and antlers.






6. How was power shared in their families, their tribe? What can you comment on the differences and similarities between the way power is shared among your family members that in this first nations group?

The power was shared in the by the men and women cared for their children they also would preapare and perseve food. A good seamstress would protect her family. Children would learn how to share and do chores for their parents.
